All online bass lesson content is organized into categories and sorted by difficulty. When clicking the 'Lessons' button, you'll be prompted to choose a category such as Technique, Music Theory, Improvisation, Style Studies, or other additional categories. After selecting a category, click the green 'Activate' button to activate the lesson course. Next, begin working down the lessons list from top to bottom in each difficulty segment. Our state-of-the-art lessons infrastructure will track which lessons you've watched in each lesson course and track your progress as you view each lesson. All of your progress will be saved and stored under the 'In Progress' section in your account profile.

Please click the 'Contact' button on the bottom of our page and let us know which course or category you'd like to reset your progress on, and we'll make it happen! Your lesson tracking progress for your selected course or category will be reset within 12-24 hours.

Lesson videos normally range between 5 and 20 minutes in length depending on the complexity and depth of the content.

Working with a private instructor is a tried-and-true method of learning. However, students can fail to retain information over time from only being able to experience each lesson one time. Online video lessons offer the ability to pause, rewind, and replay each lesson video. This provides a streamlined learning experience and serves as a catalyst to your bass education. Taking bass lessons online is an extremely cost-effective solution for students anywhere in the world to receive professional instruction and learn at their own pace on their own time.

Yes! We pride ourselves on offering a universal curriculum to help players of any skill level. If you’re a player just starting out, we have many beginner bass lessons showing you the barest of basics ranging from how to position your hands and fingers, how to properly change your strings, and how to even tune your bass. We are confident that no player will be left behind!

Each video is shot in crisp 1920x1080 high-definition resolution with multiple camera angles to provide you with the best seat in the house! As of April 2017, we are now shooting our content in beautiful 4K resolution.

For maximum accessibility to all students, most content is currently created for a 4-string bass. Our goal is to provide content that isn’t bound to any single type of instrument in order to be playable on any bass. The truth is that any valuable fundamental or skill set required to play bass can be applied to any bass guitar, regardless of how many strings it has.

Yes! Our 'Feedback Forum' area allows you to post videos of your playing and receive direct feedback and critique from our instructors. This allows us to build relationships with students over time to promote effective progress and help students to achieve their long-term bass playing goals.
